Regional Convivia

Davenant regional chapters aim to establish local networks of friendship and collaboration between ecclesially-minded scholars and students, academically-minded pastors, and theologically-concerned laypeople, for the purpose of Protestant resourcement and church renewal. They are ordinarily centered around annual or bi-annual “regional convivia,” short conferences consisting of a public lecture on a topic of broad interest for contemporary Reformed and evangelical Protestants, and a day-long symposium for the presentation of papers, discussion of controversial issues, and exchange of ideas between pastors, scholars, students, and laypeople. Regional chapters may also organize lecture series, debates, or less formal meetings for conversation and collaboration.
